The Cashier Screen is similar for both types of centers: Bay/Waiting Room and Drive-Thru. The main difference is how the centers access the Cashier Screen.
- A Bay/Waiting Room type center accesses the screen through the Cashier Station option because the Cashier Station processes invoices that come from more than one bay. The Bay/Waiting Room center “sends” the completed invoice from the Bay Invoicing Station or the Greeter Station to the Cashier Station.
- A Drive-Thru center processes the invoice and collects money at each bay. There is a cash till at each bay, and there may be more than one terminal.
See Using Bay/Waiting Room Stations or Using Drive-Thru Stations for more information. These articles describe the procedure for cashing out an invoice. They include printing the invoice, handling the cash, and the contact between the customer and the employee.
