Recommendations for Using This Report

The Service Review is a useful tool for customer interaction during a sale. By presenting this information and discussing it with the vehicle owner, you can better evaluate together what services are needed. Compare the recommended service intervals with the Since Last Recorded Service mileage to determine whether a service or replacement part is appropriate. The vehicle history and recommended service intervals help you explain what needs to be done and boost customer confidence in your suggestions. In addition, you can offer the optional AutoSticker as a convenient reminder for the next service.

Beyond the Basics

The Service Review is a convenient and reliable marketing tool. Each time you print this report, you should check the service intervals and look for services due or parts to be replaced. Use the report to encourage AddOn sales. For stores that are part of an Office Information Link (O.I.L.) system, the Service Review includes information on services performed at any of the stores that share information. This way, your customer can choose any location and receive the same level of service.

The Preventative Maintenance Report, which is part of the Preventative Maintenance module, contains information on a complete range of service needs. It goes beyond the information on this report, which is focused on services your store provides. These two reports can be used together to provide complete information on your customer’s service needs.
