The time required to reindex all active POS files varies among stores because it depends on the number of invoices on the system. It usually takes between 5 and 15 minutes. - Coupon/Discount Information File
- Comments
- Estimating
- Paid-In/Paid-Out File
- Invoices
- Invoice Detail
- Internal Notes
- Invoice Extension
- Extra Invoice Information
- Timesheet Records

If any other terminals are logged in during the reindexing, this process can cause unrecoverable damage to your system. Never reindex two different options at the same time. This can corrupt your files. You must log out all screens and users except the one doing the reindex. |
Use the following steps to reindex all active POS files:
- On the Main Menu, select Lubrication Menu.
- Select Lubrication Utility Menu (8).
- Select Reindex Active POS Files (2) to receive the following prompt: You must log out all screens except the one doing the reindex. Files will not properly reindex if accessed by multiple users. Are all other users logged out (YES/NO)?
- Do one of the following:
- Make sure that all users are logged out. Type Yes and press [Enter] to start the reindexing process. You return to the Lubrication Utility Menu when the reindexing is complete.
- Type No to return to the menus.
