Initializing the Thermal Printer

This option is only used by those customers who have ISI’s Thermal AutoSticker® add-on product. The thermal printer contains an information buffer that stores your message and layout. When the power is disconnected by turning the printer off or by an accidental power loss, this information is erased. In order to print stickers, you must initialize the printer each time you turn it on or whenever the power has been interrupted.

Use the following steps to initialize your thermal printer:

1. Turn on your thermal printer if you have not already done so.
2. On the Main Menu, select System Setup Menu.
3. Select System Management Menu (7).
4. Select Initialize Thermal Printer (6) to receive the following screen.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions. When done, press any key to return to the System Management Menu.
