File Naming Conventions

The following table explains the naming conventions of the files that you will be maintaining. All data sharing files end with the extension .shr. The following is the format of the data share file.

##### Store Number (e.g. 00001)
x This character denotes the file type. The characters range from b to z and 1 to 2 and are as follows:

b=Invoice file m=Inventory Setup file x=Checkpoints on Invoice file
c=Invoice Detail file n=Inventory History file y=Checkpoint Setup file
d=Extra Invoice file o=Purchase Order file z=Shopping Cart file
e=Coupon/Discount file p=Purchase Order Detail file 1=Shopping Cart Credits file
f=Statistics file q=Coupon and Discount Setup file 2=Employee TSB Log file
g=Employee Timesheet file r=Calendar Setup file
h=Employee Timesheet Audit file s=Employee Setup file
i=Revenue Reconciliation file t=Fleet Setup file
j=Rev. Rec. Money Pull file u=GSR Usage file
k=Rev. Rec. Paid Ins/Paid Outs file v=GSR Status file
l=Category Setup file w=Invoice Margin file
m This character denotes the month. The characters range from a to l and are as follows:

b=February e=May h=August k=November

d This character denotes the day. The characters range from a to z and 1 to 5 and are as follows:
