Connect your iPad or iPhone to your wireless network

  1. Select a network where you want your device to connect.
  1. Press the Settings icon. This icon will look like one of the below buttons.

  1. Depending on your device, select General then Network or simply Wi-Fi to access the Wi-Fi settings.

  1. Enable Wi-Fi. When doing this you will be asked to select the network where you wish to connect.
  2. Select the network that matches your Network Name from the router/access point setups.
  3. After selecting the network your will be prompted to enter a Passphrase for the router/access point.

  1. Select Join on either the keyboard or on the password screen itself.
Note:  If you were able to select your network from the list, you can skip steps g-l.
  1. If you do not see your network listed, then choose Other…
  2. Select Name and then manually enter the Network Name (It is case sensitive.).
  3. Select Security and choose WPA2.
  4. Next, choose Other Network.
  5. Select Password and then enter the Passphrase.
  6. Select Join on either the keyboard or password screen itself.
  1. Configure your device to connect to the network.
    When you have completed all the steps to this point you should be on a screen that will have your selected network highlighted with a check mark next to it as seen below.

  1. Press the blue arrow icon next to the network name.
  2. Next, press IP Address and enter 192.168.151.XXX (XXX should be replaced with a number between 120 and 179 that is not already used on your network by another device.).
  3. Press Subnet Mask and enter 255.255.255.0
  4. Select Router and enter 192.168.151.1
  5. Finally, select DNS and enter the IP of 8.8.8.8
  6. You are safe to close out of the screen and should have Internet access now on your device. You should see an icon similar to the one below in the upper portion of your screen indicating signal strength and connectivity.
