ESM Update
This update introduces the building of vehicles in the LubeSoft system based on ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard) identifiers, allowing ISI to provide additional data for vehicles in a more precise manner. As such, in addition to prompting for Year, Make, Model, and Engine (YMME), the system now also prompts for Submodel and Drive Type (when applicable). To the extent possible, any existing vehicles will be converted from YMME to ACES during the invoicing process based on the VIN (using VIN explosion) or the YMME data. Also, ISI will be able to update ESM data via electronic update separately from a full enhancement release.
