National Vehicle Sharing Search Enhancement
When searching for a returning customer by Name or VIN, the results list will now include data from both the local database and the ISI Central vehicle sharing group. Lookup by vehicle ID already searches the ISI Central vehicle sharing group. This feature is supported in LubeSoft® invoicing and Mobile Greeter.
Year/Make/Model/Engine updates
The Auto Care Association (ACA) occasionally modifies year, make, model and engine definitions for older vehicles. When this happens, existing vehicle definitions in LubeSoft® become invalid, and a technician is prompted to re-select year, make, model and engine. With the 15.21 ESM update, a large number of vehicle definition changes have occured, so a new workflow in LubeSoft® invoicing and Mobile Greeter is added to assist technicians with the vehicle changes. If an existing vehicle record with an invalid year, make, model and engine combination has a valid VIN, the system will use the VIN to “build” the vehicle. This is designed to reduce keying errors and increase speed of processing.
