POS Enhancements

Available Inventory on Hand

LubeSoft now tells you how much of an inventory item is available to you during invoicing. Available is computed by taking quantity on hand then subtracting the committed quantity (committed quantity is the quantity that is entered on other work orders.). See your User’s Guide for more information.

Ability to Override the Price of an Item During Invoicing

The ability to override the price of an inventory item during invoicing is common practice at locations that sell tires. We have incorporated this feature into LubeSoft with strong security settings. See your User’s Guide for more information.

Share File Changes

New fields were added to the end of the files.

C-shr

  • Invoice detail file
  • Original price of an inventory item if it was changed on a workorder.
  • Employee ID of the user who authorized the price change.
  • Unique ID of the employee who authorized the price change.
  • Reason provided by the employee who authorized the price change.

M-shr

  • Inventory Setups file
  • Price override flag.
  • The available quantity of an inventory item.

N-shr

  • Inventory Activity file
  • The transfer ID created and/or collected for transfers of inventory into and out of the system.

S-shr

  • Employee Setup file
  • Maximum Price Change Increase Percentage
  • Maximum Price Change Decrease Percentage

We added the store number to the end of the L (Category Setups), Q (Coupon/Discount Setups), R (Calendar Setups) and Y (Checkpoint Setups) files.
